To my best understanding，it is high time for people in every walk of life took measures to reverse the grim situation。Firstly，publications should be made to make people aware that we have no choice but to protect our environment。Secondly，laws and regulations should be established to severely punish those who destroy our environment seriously。Only in this way can we move our society into a more harmonious one。

我只能说些该文的人很努力，出发点也很好，但是力不从心，想用高档句子，却有点读死书的感觉，个人意见，把别人觉得别扭的长句改为短句吧，还有英语是形和的语言，逻辑性强，说一件事，即使是最简单细小的东西也要写出来，比如Firstly开头的那句，为什么只能这样，要把原因也写出来
